When there are problems with individual functions of Windows 10, we often solve them through system troubleshooting or registry modification, but such solutions are either relatively cumbersome or difficult to operate. In fact, with the help of a third-party free green software FixWin 10 for Windows 10, it is possible to solve the problem faster.
To facilitate recovery in case of system problems, you can click on the Create Restore Point option in the main interface of the software to create a system restore point before repairing (Figure 1).
1. Check system integrity Reset basic functions
The system files and the built-in applications of the system are the basic guarantee for the normal operation of the system. In order to verify the integrity of these functions and automatically fix the problems found, we can click System File Checker Utility on the Welcome page of the main interface of the software to enable the SFC command to automatically check the integrity of system files and fix the problems found. Then further click on the Repair Windows System Image item to launch the DISM command to automatically complete the repair of the damaged system components.
Next, the system built-in applications are then checked and repaired. Click Re-Register Store Apps on the right side of the Welcome page, which will automatically invoke the corresponding PowerShell command to complete the re-registration and repair of the system built-in applications.
2. Reset and repair the main functional modules of the system
Windows 10 also has some of our common system tools, such as Task Manager, Command Prompt, Registry Editor, System Restore, System Search, Device Manager, Security Center, Privacy Settings and so on. If there is a problem with these functions not working, you can click on the System Tools option, select and fix them with one click. For example, if there is a problem with the Security Center not working, click on the Fix button after Reset Windows Securi Settings to Defaults to reset the Security Center (Figure 2).
System function modules such as Start Menu, App Store, Reset Apps, OneDrive, Wi-Fi module, Winodws Update, Windows Sandbox, etc. are also the main functions that we use most frequently on a daily basis. If there is a problem with one of these modules, just click the “Windows 10” option on the left pane of the software, then select the corresponding item from the right pane and click Fix button to fix or reset the function.
If you don’t know the meaning or usage of a fix item in the list, you can click the question mark button on the right side of the item to get help.
3. Reset of Web Browser and Explorer
Web browser and Explorer are the most frequently used system tools. If you encounter problems involving DNS cache, TCP/IP protocol, connection, etc. during Internet access, you can click the Internet & Connectivity item and select the corresponding problem to fix. For example, if other software can access the Internet, but IE cannot, click Fix after Reset Internet Explorer To Default Configuration to reset and fix IE (Figure 3).
If you encounter a problem that cannot be fixed using File Explorer, click File Explorer on the left side of the software and select Fix.
For other problems not exhausted, you can choose to fix them through Troubleshooters or Additional Fixesx option page.
