There are two types of alignment—vertical and horizontal. To aligntext horizontally, follow these steps:
- Open the SafestSolutionsSales.xlxsworkbook.
- Select the cell that contains the text to align. Locate the
Alignment group on the Home tab. - Select the left, center, or right horizontal alignment icon.
- The text moves to a new position in the cell.

To make the cell contents more presentable, vertical alignment ispossible, as follows:
- Select the cell that contains the text. Click on the
Alignment group on the Home tab. - Select the left, center, or right vertical alignment icon.
- The cell contents move to the new vertical position, as illustratedin the following screenshot:
