Changing the default number of workbooks in Microsoft Excel 2019

A single new worksheet is visible—by default—when you create a newworkbook in Excel 2019. If you prefer to have Excel automatically show aset number of worksheets in a single workbook each time you create a newblank workbook, complete the following steps:

  1. Click on File | Options| General.
  2. Locate the When creating newworkbooks heading.
  1. Use the spin arrows to increase or decrease the number of sheets youwish to include in a single workbook, as illustrated in thefollowing screenshot:

  1. Click on the OK command to committo the changes. Open a new workbook to see the change.
