Creating a calendar group in Microsoft Outlook 2019

  1. Open the calendar view by clicking on the icon at the bottom of theNavigation Pane.
  2. From the Home tab, locate theManage Calendars group.
  3. Click on Calendar Groups, thenfrom the drop-down list, click on Create NewCalendar Group:

  1. In the dialog box, type a name for the new calendar into the textarea provided. For this example, we will create a calendar group calledSSG Calendar. Click on OKwhen you are done:

  1. Select Contacts from the addressbook to view all of the available contacts. Double-click on each contactto add them to the Group Memberssection at the bottom of the dialog box. Click on OK when done:

  1. The calendar information will display on your screen. If someonefrom your group has not shared their calendar, then you will not be ableto view it. Click on the Send a sharingrequest to see more details for this calendar icon at thebottom-right corner of each of the contacts in the calendar to requestto see more details for the calendar:

Each person is displayed in a different color on the calendar and youcan hide or display individual calendars using the group list to theleft under the folder pane.
