Software recommendation: cut and paste tools “part-time” quick administrator

The common clipboard software with multiple clipping function only enables the saving and reuse of the clipped content. If you give a shortcut key to the contents of the cut and paste, when the content of the cut and paste is a program, web site or other items, so that the shortcut key can directly launch the corresponding cut content (open the program or web page, etc.), then the multi-cut tool becomes a quick start manager. Using QuickTextPaste software, you can achieve both the clipping management and quick start management tasks.

QuickTextPaste software official green portable version, only a 100KB up and down executable file, directly run to enter the software interface (Figure 1). Click the “# to tray” logo at the end of the menu bar, and the software will retreat to the system tray as an icon.

Click the mouse on the system tray icon or select “Preferences” from the right-click menu to launch the software setup interface, which is also the main interface of the software. If the interface is in English or garbled after starting, please click the #LNG logo at the end of the software status bar and choose to set the interface to Simplified Chinese. Since you are required to start the software in administrator mode when setting some shortcut items, if you encounter operation permission problems, you can start the software in administrator mode by right-click menu command Restart as Admin from the software icon on the tray.

1. Define multiple groups of clipboards in one software

Unlike the regular clipboard, QuickTextPaste does not automatically monitor the contents of the clipboard in a timely manner. The power of QuickTextPaste lies in its multiple clipboard definition function and shortcut key triggering function.

We can define multiple clipboards. When defining the first clipboard copy item, type “copy_slot:1” at “Add text” and “Menu text” “Copy to clipboard slot 1”, then specify the shortcut key as left Win+1, and finally press the “Add” button; similarly, the second clipboard copy item add text is defined as ” copy_slot:2″, and the menu text is defined as “Copy to clipboard slot 2”; and so on. Then define the added text of the clipboard 1 paste item as “paste_slot:1” and the menu text as “Paste from clipboard slot 1”; the added text of the clipboard 2 paste item as “paste_slot:2”, the menu text is “Paste from clipboard slot 2”; and so on. All the above shortcut keys are designated as left Win+1 (Figure 2).

After the above definition, suppose we select a text in the text editor, to copy to the above clipboard 1, press the Win+1 key combination, and then select “Copy to clipboard slot 1” from the menu; to paste somewhere in the editing environment, select “Paste from clipboard slot 1” from the menu (Figure 3).

Multiple groups of clipboard copy and paste can be customized and retrieved along the lines described above. To define, simply change the numbering above and add it. You can use either the default Win+1 key combination or user-defined key combinations, as long as they do not conflict with the system key combinations.

Tip: Use the “<?” button in the middle of the hotkey definition toolbar to test the defined key combinations. button in the middle of the hotkey definition toolbar to test if the defined key combination conflicts with existing key combinations. If there is a conflict, a message will be displayed. 2.

2. Select multiple paste results with one set of hotkeys

We can use one set of hotkeys to define multiple sets of different paste contents at the same time. For example, we can use the left Win+A key combination to display “This is one of the choices after pressing left Win+A”, “This is two of the choices after pressing left Win+A”, and “This is three of the choices after pressing left Win+A”. This is the third selection after pressing Left Win+A. In this way, when the left Win+A key combination is pressed in the editing environment, you can see the three groups of text defined above in the shortcut menu at the same time, just click to select the desired sentence (Figure 4).

In practice, this feature allows us to quickly fill out forms and enter login password information, as well as to quickly reply to chat personalized content. Just use two sets of shortcut keys to define account number and password respectively, or define frequently used personalized chat text, and press the shortcut key when needed and select it from the menu.

3. Manage different shortcut items at the same time with one set of hotkeys

The shortcut keys in QuickTextPaste software can not only recall the text content of the cut and paste, but also perform many useful functions. For example, you can launch the software when you press a shortcut key, launch to a web page, etc.

To start the software with a shortcut key, just type “Run:” followed by the software program file name in the “Add text” field and assign a hotkey. For example, we specify the hotkeys for Notepad and Registry Editor software as Left Win+N, and then press this key combination at any time to start these two common software from the menu (Figure 5). More popular software can be added in the same way.

If you want to use a shortcut to launch a web page, you can type “cpy:” at the “Add Text” keyword followed by the web address, for example, to open the “Computer Fan” website, type “cpy: “http:/ /””. Thus, when you press the set key combination and select the Computer Hobbyist website item in the menu, you will automatically launch the web browser and go to the Computer Hobbyist homepage (Figure 6).
