Entering data into a set range in Microsoft Excel 2019

If you know the extent of the range you are needing to enter in aworksheet, then the best way is to select a range of cells and type upthe data. This method is fantastic when entering university marks into aspreadsheet, as you can concentrate on the paperwork and not on thescreen when entering the values. 

  1. Select a range on the worksheet.
  2. Type the first value and press the Enter key toconfirm.
  3. The cursor will move to the next cell, as illustrated in thefollowing screenshot:
