In order to relax their mood, many friends like to watch movies on the desktop while working, but the video in the web page can not be displayed independently, and the system’s default playback software can not be placed on top, resulting in watching the video is very inconvenient. This article introduces you to a variety of tools to play the video “hover” up, you can achieve both work and entertainment.

Browser hover video

Now many videos are played online through the browser, for such users, with the help of some browser plug-ins can easily achieve hover playback.

QQ browser users, if you want to work while watching Aiki video (here is only to Aiki for example, for Youku, Tencent, B site, etc., the same settings), just open the need to play the video in the browser, and then move the cursor to the upper right corner of it, and so the floating “window pop-up” button (Figure 1), click on the prompt. That is, the current video will be transformed into a hovering window on the desktop. Next, according to their needs to move the window to the appropriate location, click on its fixed button, you can write documents in Word (or do other work) while enjoying the video (Figure 2).

For IE users, there is no corresponding plug-in to achieve this (Edge and other browsers without related plug-ins are available). These users need to use third-party software to achieve this. First, download and install Windows On Top on the Internet, start it, then open IE, and then move the hand-shaped button on the Windows On Top window to the IE window, so that the IE window can always be on top (Figure 5).

Now use IE to play online video, because the playback window is always on top, we can drag the IE playback window to any position to hover like the above browser, in order to facilitate the browsing of all the video screen in a small window, you can also move the mouse focus to other positions in IE, so that the bottom right corner of the IE window will appear hover playback window, drag it to the right position and adjust the appropriate zoom proportion can be adjusted. Of course, you can use the same method to hover any program, such as Windows Media Play, Explorer, etc. (Figure 6).

While the above is mainly a computer-based operation, with the popularity of cell phones, we can also achieve similar floating effects on cell phones. For example, for Android users, if you want to achieve similar hovering video playback, you can use your cell phone’s QQ browser to do so. Launch QQ Browser on your phone and open the video playback URL, then click the hover button in the upper right corner of the video playback window, and then click “Go to Settings” as prompted to set the browser to display on the upper level (Figure 7).

When you return to the QQ browser playback window, click the hover button again, and then you can move the playback window to the top of any application for playback, so that whether you are swiping WeChat or talking on the phone, you will not be affected by watching the video (Figure 8).
