System hacks: Installer can not be installed for what

Perhaps you have also encountered a situation where the installer does not work in Windows. So, what can you do to solve this situation? I hope the following methods can give you some help. 1.

1. Use Microsoft’s special installation and uninstallation tool

If you find that you cannot install the software, you can first use Microsoft’s Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter tool to solve the problem. Visit http://aka.ms/Program_Install_and_Uninstall链接 and download MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab. After the program is run, the first thing that will pop up is the Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter Wizard, click “Next” to enter the solution process (Figure 1).

Then it asks whether there is a problem with installation or uninstallation, select “Install” to continue. It will then give you a list of software that you can choose to install (select “Not listed” for programs that are not in the list) (Figure 2). The program will then check the registry for problems related to the installation of patches and provide a solution. 2.

2. Resolve with the help of Windows installation services

The installer does not work, probably because the Windows Installer service is not turned on. Run the MSIExec command in a command prompt window, if you get detailed information about MSIExec, it means that the Windows Installer service is normal. If you get an error message, try to turn on the service manually.

Right-click on the blank space in the taskbar and select “Task Manager”, select the “Services” tab in the opened Task Manager window, find the msiserver item and turn it on (Figure 3).

You can also open the Windows Services window by directly running the services.msc command and find the Windows Installer service to turn it on (Figure 4).

If the above service is on, but you still have installation problems. This can be solved by re-registering the Windows Installer service. In the Administrator Command Prompt window, execute the following command and then restart the system.

%windir%system32msiexec.exe /unregister

%windir%system32msiexec.exe /regserver

%windir%syswow64msiexec.exe /unregister

%windir%syswow64msiexec.exe /regserver
