In order to better promote their products, many people have thought of many ways, one of which is to incorporate the product into the picture. This way when other people see the picture without thinking about it, they can be attracted to the products in it. Usually to achieve such an operation, one must be skilled in software such as PS, and with the help of the following tools we can throw aside the huge and complicated PS.
Quickly select the desired template
Since many users have similar needs, a developer has built a cloud service. This cloud service provides a large number of ready-made templates, and users only need to upload relevant images to the cloud and then stitch them with the selected template. The Smartmockups cloud service featured in Computer Hobbyist magazine is a representative one, and today we choose another cloud service called MockupPhotos to do the job.
First, open its official website (https://mockup.photos) through your browser and enter the keywords you need in the search box on the web page, and you will immediately find the corresponding template information (Figure 1).
In addition, you can click on the “509 mockups” link at the bottom of the page and see the pop-up page with hundreds of free and high-quality templates, which can be chosen from different types such as computer, cell phone, watch, poster, and notes. To make it easier for users to find the templates they need, they can filter them by Format, Type, Color and other options (Figure 2).
Uploading and stitching images effect
For example, I’m going to choose the “Poster” type here, so choose “Poster” in the “Type” menu, so that all the poster templates will be presented at the moment. Next, let’s go to the “Computer Hobbyist? s Taobao website to download a cover image of the latest magazine and save it to the local hard drive for use. Then choose a template of your choice from the poster template, next click on the poster image in the template and you will see two commands in the pop-up menu (Figure 3). Through them, you can allow users to upload images from the local hard disk, or directly set the link address of the network images. Let’s click on the “Upload image” command here, and then select the prepared magazine cover image to upload.
The compositing operation can be performed as soon as the image is uploaded, so that you can see the results of the compositing in real time (Figure 4).
If there are no problems, then click the red button in the bottom right corner to download and save the composite image to your hard drive. Since each template shows an optimal resolution for the image upload location, if the user uploads an image with a resolution other than this one, then the composite will not be as good as it could be. In this case, you can click on the uploaded image and select the “Re-position image” command in the pop-up menu. This will bring up a page for image adjustment, for example, by moving the mouse you can adjust the position of the uploaded image in the template, and by sliding the scale slider below the mouse you can adjust the resolution of the uploaded image (Figure 5).
Click the OK button below after the adjustment is done to make the image fit the template’s resolution better and finally achieve a perfect stitching effect.
