Office hacks: PPT quickly draw perspective three-dimensional diagram according to the gourd drawing

In financial magazines or websites, we often see a lot of beautiful three-dimensional icons or charts, these elements can be a more visual representation of the data. Most of these icons or charts are made by professional software, and now with the help of the commonly used office software PowerPoint (this article takes the 2016 version as an example), we can also create a similar effect of three-dimensional diagrams.

Since this is a hand-drawn figure using the arbitrary polygon tool, we can work with its size, shape, color, shading, etc. in any way we want. Once you have finished splitting the shapes, you can see that the triangle splits the circle into several sectoral parts, now move the other unrelated shapes out and delete them. Next, select one of the shapes, right-click and select “Set Shape and Format”, and in “Shape Options→Fill and Line Place”, use the blue gradient to fill, and check “Rotate with shape “. Switch to the line option, where you can set the color of the outline, the color is recommended to be the same as the above fill color (Figure 7).

Switch to “3D Format” and set the depth value to “40 lbs”. Depth is the thickness of the 3D dimension, so if you want each sector to be staggered in height, then you can set different depth values for different shapes. Continue to switch to the “three-dimensional rotation”, set the X-axis to 40 degrees, Y-axis set to 320 degrees, Z-axis set to 60 degrees. Here the effect of three-dimensional rotation parameters are set so that three-dimensional shapes can be arranged in three dimensions at the best angle, so the actual value needs to be set according to the specific shape, the value here is for reference only (Figure 8).

As above, continue to set the color fill and 3D format parameters for the other sectors, so that each area is finally arranged at the best angle. Finally, fine-tune each shape and add text on it, and a three-dimensional chart is finished (Figure 9).
