Restricting access to workbook contents in Microsoft Word 2019

In addition to using the File | Info | Protect Workbook method torestrict the editing of workbooks, we can use the Review ribbon. We will use thisoption to protect different parts of a worksheet from editing.

If you are working with others on the same workbook, you may want toconsider removing editing rights to parts of the workbook, especially toprotect complicated formulae or functions.

Follow the instructions described in the next section to protect acertain part of the workbook from any unwanted editing.
