This option allows you to publish (send) content to the internet oran intranet site. You must have a blog account with one of the followingservice examples: SharePoint Blog, WordPress, Blogger, Windows LiveSpaces, Community Server, or Typepad.
If this is the first time you are using the
- Open a document to save as a blog post.
- Click on File | Share | Postto Blog.
- Notice the change on the ribbon once you have clickedon Post to Blog.
- A Blog Post tab is now visiblewith the required icons, and the document view has changed automaticallyto the Web Layout view.
- If this is the first time you are blogging using Word, then you needto register your blog account. If you do not have a blog account, thenvisit the provider to set one up (for instance, visit
http://wordpress.com tostart a free blog). - Click on the
New icon withinthe BlogAccounts dialog box. - Select the blog-type provider from the list provided underthe New BlogAccount dialog box, as illustrated in thefollowing screenshot:

- In this case, we will select
WordPress. - Click on
Next to continue. - Add the blog address in the space provided.
- Enter your username and password to log in to your WordPress blogaccount, as illustrated in the followingscreenshot:

- Click on
OK to connect to yourblog. - Click on the
Publish icon to send the blogpost to the blog provider, as illustrated in the followingscreenshot:

- The blog post is then sent to the WordPress site, asillustrated in the following screenshot:
