Sharing a file via email  in Microsoft Office 2019

This feature is often overlooked while working in Office 2019applications. Instead of opening two applications on your desktop (forexample, Word and Outlook), simply send an email from within the Office2019 application directly. Not only does this feature save on systemresources, but this will also have a huge impact on your productivityfor the day. Let’s look at the steps on how to achieve this using a Word2019 example, as follows:

  1. Open the BLFurkidds_Reference.docx file. Wewould like to send the Word document via email to an employment agent,for example.
  2. Click on the File | Share | Email option.
  3. You will be presented with quite a few options to choose from whensending an email, as can be seen in the following screenshot:

  1. Click on the relevant option. For this exercise, we will use Send as Attachment.
  1. Microsoft Outlook will open a new email message dialog box,including the document as an attachment and the document name as thesubject. Complete the email by entering the email address of yourintended recipient, set any other mail options, then press Send, as illustrated in the followingscreenshot:
