Software recommendations: system cleaning to simplify and personalize

In order to keep the system running more efficiently, we often clean and optimize the system. However, if you leave this task to some one-click cleaning software to do, especially using some domestic cleaning software, it may often cause unnecessary trouble, and such software may often be the solution to the system trouble and bring new trouble (such as advertising or bundling). If you start from the system cleanup optimization to be simple, clean, but also take into account the individual needs of different users, it is necessary to find another way to find some of the cleanup optimization program to save people.

1. comprehensive and extensive one-click cleaning and optimization

The system is not running smoothly is already a trouble, if in the cleanup optimization and need to invest more energy, then is the trouble on top of the trouble. It is a good idea to use the HDCleaner free software to achieve all-in-one system cleaning and optimization.

After running the HDCleaner software, first through the “Dashboard” tab, we can see at a glance the health and security status of the system. If there are problems with device performance or health, you can click on the gear icon after the report item to see the specific problem. In terms of system security, we can see if anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall programs are currently installed on the system, and if the system restore feature is enabled (if not, click the “Enable” button to enable it instantly). In addition, the system security center will also report the status of each indicator (Figure 1).

If you want to clean and optimize a certain function of the system, click on the “Clean” tab to enter the clean and optimize function selection interface. There are four major items that can be selected for one-click cleaning, including plug-in cleaners, registry cleaners, file shredders, and unwanted file cleaners. In terms of plug-in cleaning, the software will automatically classify and list three aspects, including browser plug-ins, Windows plug-ins, application plug-ins, etc., which are organized and presented in three tabs. Then click the “Clean” button for automatic cleaning (Figure 2).

The registry cleanup is also a scanning and then cleaning process. After the automatic scan is finished, click the “Start Cleanup” button to complete the registry cleaning task with one click (Figure 3).

File and space cleanup is also an important part of system optimization. If you want to clean up files or disk space, click on “File Shredder” to select it. If you want the previously deleted files in free space to be unrecoverable, select the button after “Erase Free Space” to shred all the files that exist in free space. If the data on a partition or drive is no longer in use and you want to do a one-time complete shredding process, you can select the “Overwrite all data on partition” and “Overwrite drive” buttons respectively. ” and “Overwrite all sectors on the drive” items respectively (Figure 4).

Under the “Tools” and “Schedule Features” tabs, you can perform many useful cleanup and optimization operations, including autorun project management, program uninstallation, duplicate file disposal, invalid shortcut disposal, registry defragmentation, etc. (Figure 5).

The “Detection” tab enables automatic monitoring of system autorun items and browsers, as well as on-time automatic optimization of system memory and automatic optimization of system space by capacity (Figure 6).

2. Unique customizable system cleaning and optimization

If the above HDCleaner software is only selected according to the user’s needs in order to perform one-click cleaning and optimization, then PrivaZer is more capable of meeting personalized system cleaning and optimization needs. We can make full use of the wizard mode provided by this software to personalize the items that need to be optimized. The information about the customized items is saved in a PrivaZer.ini configuration file, and after saving this file, the next optimization will be based on this file for personalized one-time optimization.

After starting PrivaZer, there are three options listed in the function selection menu, the second of which is to access the main menu of the program for general operations, the third is to create a directory for the software to run in, and the first one, “Adapt PrivaZer to your needs”, is the option to enter the personalization process as described above (Figure (Figure 7).

After selecting this, you then select either Basic or Advanced user, and then follow the wizard’s question to give you the choices for each requirement, and finally save these choices to the PrivaZer.ini file, which creates a personalized optimization configuration (Figure 8). This file can then be called directly for the next optimization.

Tip: With PrivaZer you can also deep scan and clean external storage, U shield, iPod, network storage, NAS, etc.
