Using Alt + down arrow in Microsoft Excel 2019

When entering data—such as a status or departments within anorganization—into a worksheet repetitively down the column, Excel willoffer a suggestion after typing the first letter of the word into thecell above. If the choice offered is correct, you can save time bypressing the Enter key to accept the choice offered. If youprefer to choose from a populated list, use the Alt key on the keyboardand press the down arrow. The result can be seen in the followingscreenshot:
